Health E-Insights: What excites you most about your company?

Ms. Kent: Consulting allows me to access new patents and science from ingredients like Chromax chromium picolinate to vitamin K2. There is interesting technology coming from universities all over the world. The challenge becomes how to take this science and market it to consumers.  Working with new, clinically substantiated substances has allowed me to put ingredients into direct-to-consumer campaigns, multi-level marketed (MLM) products and mass market distribution all at the same time.

Health E-Insights: What do you think is the future of dietary supplements?

Ms. Kent: The difference in new products success today as opposed to 15 years ago is the need for clinical substantiation to promote benefits of the products, direct to consumers. The regulatory bodies governing this industry have dictated more responsible marketing in our industry.

Health E-Insights: As president of your company, how accessible are you to your customers?

Ms. Kent: I market and sell each product as if it was my own. The success of the product is what drives my career.

Health E-Insights: Can you describe a typical day?

Ms. Kent: A typical day varies from new science reviews to presentations to the marketers to sell and promote the products direct to consumers.

Health E-Insights: What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Ms. Kent: The greatest achievement is selling new ingredients that are innovative from branding to shelf.

Health E-Insights: What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Ms. Kent: When life allows you to be optimistic.
